Memory 12 from Book Sayyed Hossein: Armed Capture and Heroic Resilience Under SAVAK Torture
Hossein was arrested with arms and explosives near the military governor’s base. Despite severe torture and burn scars across his body, he refused to utter a single name of his comrades.
His fortitude stemmed from unceasing prayer to Imam Ali (AS). A death warrant was issued against him, but he was freed when prisons were unlocked by the triumphant revolution in February 1979.
