Memory 5 from Book Sayyed Hossein: Shrewd Composure in the Sadegh Kermanshahi Investigation

Sadegh Kermanshahi had been arrested with a list of revolutionary contacts days before Hossein. When Hossein gave the name Hamid, interrogators severely tortured Sadegh to extract links to "Hamid Alamolhoda".

Failing to break Sadegh, the guards brought them face-to-face. Sadegh feigned surprise: "Who is this? I have never seen him before!"

Hossein was then tortured to unconsciousness and dumped in a corner. Sadegh approached under the pretense of bringing water, and Hossein whispered faintly: "Remember, my name is Hamid!"
