The Hoveyzeh IRGC had been paralyzed, and we had to come up with a solution. After consulting with one another, it was decided that Qasem should go to Sayyid Hamid Alamolhoda, who held a position in the Jihad of Construction in Susangerd, and seek instructions through him. Qasem went to Ahvaz, and for the Maghrib and Isha prayers he visited the Jazayeri Mosque in Ahvaz, where he met Sayyid Hamid and gave him a report on the chaotic situation of the Hoveyzeh IRGC. Sayyid Hamid immediately took Qasem to Sayyid Hossein Alamolhoda and introduced them to each other. This was the first meeting of the Hoveyzeh youths with Sayyid Hossein. Sayyid Hossein told Qasem: 'Come tomorrow so that we can go together to see Brother Shamkhani.' At that time, Sayyid Hossein Alamolhoda was in charge of troop dispatch and a member of the Command Council of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Khuzestan. Since the years prior to the Islamic Revolution and during the struggle against the Taghut regime, Sayyid Hossein had maintained a close relationship with Brother Ali Shamkhani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Khuzestan. The headquarters of the Ahvaz IRGC was located in Golf. The next day, Qasem Neisi and Sayyid Hossein went to meet Brother Shamkhani.

Later, Qasem recounted to me and said: 'When we arrived at the Golf Base, I stayed in the waiting room and Hossein went alone to see Ali Shamkhani and spoke with him.' It was only later that I understood why Sayyid Hossein went alone to the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Khuzestan. Hossein foresaw the near future of the war in and around Hoveyzeh and did not want to remain in Ahvaz. He wanted to get himself to Hoveyzeh. Following the martyrdom of friends such as Reza Pirzad and Asghar Gandomkar, he could no longer bear to stay in Ahvaz; he was determined by any means to get closer to Susangerd and Hoveyzeh. My arrival gave him the best opportunity to reach the destination he was planning for. The two spoke alone for about half an hour. When Hossein emerged from the room, he was smiling. It turned out he had succeeded in obtaining Mr. Shamkhani's consent and getting appointed as the IRGC commander of Hoveyzeh. Later, I learned that Shamkhani had initially strongly opposed this appointment, but Sayyid Hossein had somehow convinced him to let him become the commander of the Hoveyzeh IRGC. Thus, following the martyrdom of Asghar Gandomkar, Sayyid Hossein Alamolhoda became the second commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Hoveyzeh.
